The tidal zone is a place of constant change, where the ocean's tides shape the landscape and the creatures that call it home. It is a habitat rich in foraging and discovery opportunities, where one can find a plethora of seaweed and other treasures left behind by the sea. As I walk along the shore, the waves crashing against the rocks and the shadows cast by the setting sun add to the sense of motion and energy in this dynamic environment. I am struck by the contrast between the rugged coastline and the delicate forms of marine life, and am inspired to capture this feeling in my artwork. The seasons also bring new wonders to discover, and the tidal zone allows me to feel connected to the rhythms of nature. It is a place of inspiration and beauty, where the human form is intimately connected to the natural world.
