These works are part of my ongoing investigations into the mysteries which surround the honeybee. Mankind has always looked into the gold of the honeycomb, to discover truths about oneself and our relationship to the universe. This project included 6 'Temple Hives', sculpted from polystyrene which had been salvaged from the North Sea. In this instance they are installed in the heart of Grays School of Art, these installations were to be viewed as vessels for creativity. Additionally, they provided the background for my performance ‘Panning for Gold’
